We're 4 months into Viperbird's HL2DM Mapping Contest with only 2 months remaining before the judges start the review process and decide the winners. Viperbird has put together the video below to give you a couple of glimpses at what our contest participants have cooked up so far.

Some amazing work not just from the creators of these stunning maps but also some top-notch editing skills by our good friend and contest host Viperbird!

A four-sided, symmetrical arena conceptually derived from the classic aim_arena. Gameplay and the flow are enhanced by the four-way underpass, the upper walkway that crosses the map, and the 8 teleporters. Warm lighting and texturing, thanks also to the beautiful RealWorldTextures by TopHattWaffle.

Very loosely inspired by the standalone classic HL1 episode "uplink", released 1999. Features a health overheal to 150 with a logic flip to collect healthpacks to 150 if you run the healthcharger to 0. Armor charger works in reverse - collect batteries beforehand and they will be credited on top of the 100 the armor charger can supply.
